Suitable for complex shapes and designs. Not as durable as the merrow border, it is thin and may fray. There is also a borderless hot-cut option.

Satin Stitch:

The densely stitched area on the perimeter of the patch is less bulky than a merrowed edge but still has some elevation over the hot-cut edge. The smooth-finished edge is frequently used for patches that require woven or Chenille patches
